The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, Mike Ogbuekwe, has called on residents and political stakeholders to support the administration of Enugu State Governor, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, saying development should transcend party lines.
Ogbuekwe made the appeal during an APC stakeholders’ meeting in Nkanu East, where he praised Governor Mbah’s infrastructural projects and developmental initiatives across the state.
He described the administration’s achievements as commendable efforts aimed at improving the welfare of the people and urged residents to support policies that promote economic growth, peace and sustainable development.
The APC flagbearer also appealed for unity among political actors and community leaders, stressing that the interests of the people should take precedence over partisan considerations.
According to him, greater progress can be achieved in Nkanu East when leaders and citizens work together in support of programmes that improve living standards and drive development.
Party leaders, ward executives, youth representatives, women groups and other stakeholders attended the meeting and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the APC’s grassroots structures while supporting the development of Nkanu East Local Government Area.
