The Enugu State Government, through the Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), has announced a call for applications for an empowerment scheme targeting 520 beneficiaries — two persons from each of the state’s 260 wards.
According to a public announcement signed by the General Manager/CEO of CSDA, Hon Monday Diamond Ani, the scheme offers sewing machines, hairdressing machines, grinding machines, vulcanizing machines, and business grants to successful applicants.
Who Can Apply
The Government of Enugu State, through the CSDA, is calling on “the general public, especially the rural communities and vulnerable persons who have skill(s),” to apply as beneficiaries for the listed items.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
· Reside in Enugu State
· Be between 18 and 60 years of age
· Provide evidence of acquired skill
Note: “No one is restricted from applying,” the announcement stated.

Applications can be submitted online via email to enugustatecsda@yahoo.com or offline by bringing application letters to the CSDA office at the CSDA/NTA Building, Independence Layout, Enugu.
