Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the party’s primary election held on Saturday.

The governor said Tinubu had, over several decades, built a formidable political structure across the country while contributing significantly to democratic development and leadership grooming.
“It is soothing to note that close to four decades, you have painstakingly built an invincible political fortress stretching across the six geopolitical zones of the country, nurturing leaders, strengthening democratic institutions, and redefining political organization in Nigeria with uncommon courage, strategy, and consistency,” he stated.
Nwifuru further described the President as one of the major political figures whose sacrifices during Nigeria’s pro-democracy struggle helped shape the country’s democratic evolution.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, you are not merely a politician, you are a movement, a national institution, and a symbol of political resilience whose name has become permanently engraved in the history of democratic governance in Nigeria,” the statement added.
The governor also said residents of Ebonyi State demonstrated overwhelming support for Tinubu during the APC presidential primary election across the 13 local government areas of the state.
According to him, the support reflects the people’s appreciation of Tinubu’s leadership style and commitment to national deve lopment.
