CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
Rotary International, District 9142 received with rude shock the sudden and untimely death of Pastor Mrs Patience Umo Eno, wife of Governor, Akwa Ibom State, a distinguished Rotarian.
Until her death, the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State was a devout Christian, an advocate of Women Rights, an ever willing helper to the needy and less privileged, as her true philanthropy knew no bounds. The State of Akwa Ibom is mourning.
The leadership and members of the Rotary family in District 9142, join His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, his immediate family and Akwa Ibomites in this period of mourning and grief. We send our condolences and pray that the Good Lord will give them the grace and fortitude to go through this very trying and difficult time.
We take solace in the fact that given the type of life that Pastor Patience lived, our loss is
heaven’s gain, as she had gone to swell the tribe of Saints.
