‘I’ll change narrative of Anambra State’, Moghalu assures at community campaign tour

The Labour Party Governorship Candidate, Dr. George Moghalu, in continuation of his community-to-community campaign tour for grassroots mobilization, stormed Uke and Eziowelle where he was received with a rousing welcome as party members, supporters, and well-wishers trooped out in their numbers to show joy and solidarity.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Dr. Moghalu expressed profound gratitude to the people for their love and overwhelming support for the Labour Party. He assured them that his mission is to change the narrative of Anambra State, promising that under his leadership every local government will enjoy direct control of its allocations for meaningful community development.

He further pledged free medical care for the elderly (65 years and above), free education for children, and an end to the exploitative tax collection system that has for years placed undue burdens on ordinary citizens.

On insecurity, Dr. Moghalu declared:
“Tackling insecurity in Anambra is not rocket science. We will establish a central command-and-control system with CCTV coverage across communities, provide 179 Hilux pickups linked to the police command, and properly document, equip, and pay our vigilantes. Retired military and police personnel will train them, while their allowances will be attractive enough to even engage young graduates. Security must come first, because no economy can grow where there is insecurity. Sadly, today, Anambra has not attracted a single investor because of the prevailing insecurity.”

The people of Uke and Eziowelle expressed delight at his message of hope and warmly accepted him as their preferred choice for a better Anambra.

Dr. Moghalu urged Ndi Anambra to unite and vote massively for the Labour Party in the forthcoming governorship election, assuring them with confidence that together, “Anambra ga adi mma ozo!”
