The Labour Party Governorship Candidate for Anambra gubernatorial election, Chief Dr. George Moghalu has commiserated with His Eminence, the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, Peter Ebere Cardinal Okpaleke and the entire Catholic family of Ekwulobia Diocese, on the death of Very. Rev. Msgr. Jerome Ndubisi Madueke.
Dr. George Moghalu, in a condolence message to the family, friends and close associates of the late priest, described him as a dedicated servant of the Lord who spent his time on earth serving humanity; saying that the late revered Monsignor contributed immensely to the growth of the Catholic Church in Nigeria where he served as a theological expert to the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN).
Dr. Moghalu further recalled Msgr. Madueke’s pioneering role as the first Director of Fides Communication in Awka Diocese before the creation of Ekwulobia Diocese, where he continued to serve tirelessly until his passing as Director of Communications, Catechism, and Evangelization.
While praying that the Almighty God will grant the departed priest eternal rest, Dr. Moghalu affirmed that Very Rev. Msgr. Madueke will be missed for his charity, philanthropy and insightful preaching.
