Ajah steps down as PDP Governorship Aspirant, congratulates Peter Mbah
…Pledges Loyalty to Gov. Ugwuanyi, People’s Democratic Party
A foremost PDP gubernatorial aspirant in Enugu State and former Secretary to Enugu State Government, Dr. GOC Ajah, mni, has stepped down for Barr. Peter Mba for the PDP governorship primary election slated to hold Wednesday (today) 25 May, 2022.
Dr. Ajah who until now has been tipped for the top job in the State made the decision to step down from the race in the interest of the people of Enugu State, Nkanuland and the PDP.
Meanwhile, addressing selected pressmen at his GRA residence, Dr. Ajah stated that the interests of Nkanu East local government area, Nkanuland and the party are superior to any individual’s interest, and therefore was stepping down for Barr. Peter Mbah in today’s electoral outing.
GOC Ajah has also used the opportunity to congratulate Barrister Mbah in anticipation that the delegates would queue behind him and massively vote for him for the peace and progress of the state.
Appreciating Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State for the support he enjoyed under his administration and throughout the campaign tour, Dr. Ajah said he would continue to be loyal to the Governor in all respects.
