Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Honourable Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, SAN, on Thursday hosted Senator Julius Ali Ucha, OFR, and the APC Deputy National Chairman (South), Dr. Ben Nwoye, during a courtesy visit to his office in Abuja, where the leaders discussed strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC), grassroots mobilisation, and national development.
The discussions focused on strategies to deepen unity within the ruling party, strengthen internal cohesion, and enhance collaboration among members, particularly in the South-East. The leaders also underscored the importance of grassroots politics and inclusive engagement in consolidating the APC’s achievements and broadening its support base across the country.
Speaking during the meeting, Dr. Udeh reaffirmed the importance of purposeful leadership and sustained engagement with grassroots communities in advancing national development and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
He noted that active grassroots participation remains critical to strengthening democratic governance and promoting inclusive development nationwide.
The meeting ended with a shared commitment by the leaders to sustain constructive engagement, reinforce the APC through greater grassroots participation, and continue working together to promote national unity, peace, and progress for the benefit of all Nigerians.
