Engr. Barr. Steve Avah has expressed deep sorrow over the death of his brother-in-law, Barr. Obiora Dom Nwobodo, describing the loss as a painful blow to both family and community.
The late Barr. Obiora, from Akpugo in Nkanu West LGA of Enugu State, was the Deputy Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the area. A respected legal professional, he also served with the Energy Commission of Nigeria in Abuja until his passing.
He died on Saturday, November 15, 2025, and will be laid to rest on Friday, December 5, 2025.
In a tribute, Engr. Avah described him as a “gentle and principled soul whose dedication to public service and professional excellence will always be remembered.” He prayed that his soul rests peacefully in God’s bosom.
Relatives, friends, and associates continue to mourn Barr. Obiora, praising his commitment to the development of Nkanu West and his exemplary record in law and public service.
