The Enugu MSME & Startup Agency (Enugu SME Center) has called on youths, women, artisans, creatives, and entrepreneurs to participate in a nationwide upskilling programme aimed at improving employability and economic inclusion.
The initiative, part of the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and aligned with the human capital development drive of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, is designed to equip participants with globally relevant skills and certifications.
The programme, titled 10 Million Nigerian Youths & Women Upskilling Initiative, is being implemented by WAWUAfrica in collaboration with its partners.
According to the Center, participants will receive free, CPD-accredited training across multiple sectors, including technology and digital skills, business and entrepreneurship, hospitality and tourism, creative arts and design, skilled trades and engineering, healthcare and wellness, and personal and leadership development.
The Enugu MSME & Startup Agency (Enugu SME Center) said the initiative is intended to provide practical skills that can drive employment, entrepreneurship, productivity, and access to global opportunities.
It described the programme as a strategic platform for certification, empowerment, and workforce development, aimed at building a job-ready and future-focused population in the state.
