At all times in every society, the option for peace has never been debated. As the development and growth of such society is largely dependent on its peaceful atmosphere.
Enugu wouldn’t have been what it is today if it is not peaceful.
All thanks to the peace-loving governor of the state, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
For sometime now, Nigeria has been engulfed with numerous conflicts and crisis relating to banditry, kidnapping, cultism, etc. and others that are politically motivated. These situations in one way or the other have claimed many lives and properties. Investment opportunities are affected too. Heartbreaking as it is, lots of kidnapped victims are still under captive.
In Enugu State, since the coming of Ugwuanyi as the governor, Enugu is now more peaceful than it used to be.
No wonder Enugu was ranked the Most Peaceful State in Nigeria. A great feat that was achieved with much work and not mere words. An outstanding result of His Excellency’s investment and commitment to the security sector.
Interestingly, Governor Ugwuanyi made sure that the party primaries of all political parties in the state were peaceful without any record of casualty or bloodshed.
We commend Gov. Ugwuanyi for being steadfast in making Enugu a peaceful state to the admiration of all.
On the same vein, we ask Governor Ugwuanyi to continue to do his best in sustaining the peace and harmony in the State both during and after 2023 election.
