Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD), have lauded the unwavering commitment of Chief Nduka Anyanwu(Gburugburu) to the societal building and human development.
Chief Nduka Anyanwu was the immediate-past Board council of the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) and ersewhile member of the national executive committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the country.
He was equally member of APC Presidential Campaign Council for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 and former deputy national publicity secretary of the defunct All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP).
On June 18th, Chief Nduka Anyanwu flanked by his close associates, dumped APC for the ruling labour party(LP) in Abia State.
The forum whose membership is drawn from the seventeen(17) local government areas of Abia State and different political backgrounds, in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, also commended Chief Anyanwu for his passion for good governance and commitment towards deepening democracy in Nigeria.
The statement by the forum was signed by the chairman, Surveyor Samuel Aguiyi and the Secretary-General, Ambassador Chinedu Emeruwa.
Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) however lauded the recent decision by Chief Nduka Anyanwu to align with the labour party and the vision of Governor Alex Otti-led administration in Abia state.
The think-tank group described Anyanwu’s latest decision to pitch tents with labour party as a good step in a right direction, aimed at consolidating the current democratic governance in Abia state.
While lauding the courageous step taken by the prominent Abia chieftain, the forum noted that Chief Nduka Anyanwu’s decision is not driven by personal ambition or expectations but by a genuine desire to participate in the rebuilding of Abia State.
Having demonstrated capacity in various national and state assignments bestowed on him, forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) confided that Anyanwu will bring forward his vast wealths of experience in political administration and leadership to complement the state government’s efforts in driving even developments in Abia state.
While hailing the political acumen and sagacity of the frontline Abia chieftain, the forum also confided the leadership of the labour party that Chief Nduka Anyanwu’s entry into the party will ensure LP victory across communities in ikwuano/umuahia constituency as he owned formidable political structure, large numbers of supporters across Abia State.
The forum encouraged well-meaning Abia citizens to emulate the courageous and patriotic step taken by Chief Nduka Anyanwu by supporting the transformative and visionary leadership in Abia state.
