President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja, concluding a significant two-nation visit that saw him engage with leaders in Saint Lucia and participate in the 17th BRICS Summit in Brazil.
The President’s return to Abuja was disclosed by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga.
Onanuga’s post on X read: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja Saturday night from his trips to Saint Lucia and Brazil. He was welcomed at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja by the Minister for Budget and Economic Planning Alh Abubakar Atiku, Alh ibrahim Masari, Senator Aliyu Wamakko, Minister for Defence, Muhammed Bello Matawalle and NSA Nuhu Ribadu”.
The President’s diplomatic mission commenced with a state visit to Saint Lucia, a strategic move aimed at deepening Nigeria’s engagement with Caribbean nations and strengthening South-South cooperation.
After his engagements in Saint Lucia, Tinubu proceeded to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to participate in the 17th BRICS Summit.
