JUST-IN: Bart Nnaji, Nigeria’s Former Minister of Power, to Chair 2023 Igbo Day Public Lecture

Nigeria’s former Minister of Power, Prof. Bart Nnaji, has been nominated as chairman for the 2023 Igbo Day Public Lecture.

The event, slated for Thursday, September 28, aims to unite intellect and entrepreneurial prowess within Ndigbo of Nigeria. Prof. Nnaji, a renowned scholar and the founder of Geometric Power Group, is well-known for his dedication to the think-home ideology for the Igbo nation and his efforts to empower the people through sustainable energy solutions.

According to a statement sent to Pacesetter, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo while exemplifying his remarkable achievements and commitment to the Igbo nation said, Prof. Nnaji was nominated to chair the event because of “…Your sterling qualities, as a distinguished scholar with an immaculate track record of global scientific research, patriotism, and love for the Igbo nation.”

With the theme “Igbo Kunie!,” the 2023 Igbo Day Public Lecture promises to be transformative, inspiring and unlocking the extraordinary potential within the Igbo community. The event slated for Thursday, September 28, at the Old Governor’s Lodge in GRA Enugu, will have His Lordship, Professor Godfrey lgwebuike Onah, the Catholic Bishop of Nsukka Diocese, deliver the Public Lecture.
