Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress from the Peoples Democratic Party.
The governor announced his defection at a stakeholders meeting held at the government house in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
Fubara’s defection is the latest in a host of defections to the ruling APC this year.
