The Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has approved the appointment of some persons as Commissioner-nominees:
According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the state government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, the names of the nominees are:
- Engr. Benjamin Osita Okoh
- Prof. Benedeth Ekwutosi Okoli
- Eyinna Franklin Ogbonna
- Dr. Samuel Ogbu-Nwobodo
- Prof. George Ugwu
- Ben Collins Ndu Jr.
The statement also revealed that the names have been transmitted to the Enugu State House of Assembly for confirmation.
Furthermore, the Governor, has also approved the appointment of Dr. Godwin Anigbo, mni, as the Enugu State Head of Service. This appointment takes effect immediately.
