….Unveils SHEEEMS Pillars
With the unveiling of INEC timetable and gradual gathering of steam for the race to occupy the Awka government house of Anambra State, an Nnewi born businessman, economist and techprenuer, Mr. John Nwosu has declared his interest to run for Governor of Anambra State.
Revealing this in a press release sighted titled “2025 Anambra State Governorship Election – A Clarion Call For Grassroots Mobilization And Victory By The Grace Of God”, Nwosu who is the Chief Executive Officer of Jetlink Group Ltd., an ICT company with business affiliations and interests in the Central Bank of Nigeria, EcoBank Plc, Jaiz Bank, Fidelity Bank Plc and other entities, unveiled the thrust of his plans – SHEEEMS.
Arguing that one of the ways to make a Peter Obi presidency possible in 2027 is “if his Home State of Anambra is governed by his Labour Party”, he went on to solicit for “personal support and outreach for this noble task…”.

Dear friends,
My name is Mr. John Chuma Nwosu. I am from Oduda, Nnewichi, Nnewi in Anambra State. I am an Economist and a successful businessman with 30 years corporate business experience, in computer systems and information management technology (ICT).
I consider myself a prudent and good manager of people, finances and material resources. I am the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Jetlink Group Ltd., an ICT company with business affiliation and interests in the Central Bank of Nigeria, EcoBank Plc, Jaiz Bank, Fidelity Bank Plc and other entities. Our company has substantial business interests in Ghana and Liberia. By the Special Grace of God Almighty, we are financially responsible, comfortable and stable.
A Catholic, I am happily married with three hardworking and focused children. With humility, I present myself to you for the Office of the Governorship of Anambra State in 2025, under Labour Party. As a notable Stakeholder, I solicit your personal support and outreach for this noble task in the order to bring about good governance and progress that will enhance economic development and confer comparative advantages on Anambra State.
I need your support and assistance to become the Candidate of Labour Party for the Governorship Primary Election and together, we shall win the Governorship Election in 2025 by the grace of God Almighty.
Permit me with humility and a deep a sense of responsibility to state categorically and without equivocation that a strong demand for a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction in the person of H.E Mr. Peter Obi, CON in 2027, shall be more persuasive to other Nigerians if his Home State of Anambra is governed by his Labour Party. Charity begins at Home.
Accordingly, under our Security, Health, Education, Economy, Enterprise, Market and Social Welfare (SHEEEMS) Pillars, the major focus of my administration within a four year-period shall include, but not limited to the following:
1) Security of Lives and Property by deploying modern Security equipments ad technology with constant reorientation of personnel in compliance with current Security challenges. Improved Welfare of Security Personnel shall be fundamental to their morale for optimal performance;
2) Provide first class accessible and affordable healthcare anchored on primary healthcare (PHC), complete with statewide Emergency Medical and Transport Services (EMTS). For the indigent, we will partner with the Organised Private Sector and Faith-based institutions to introduce and provide Charity Care;
3) In the Education sphere, we shall support Science, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education, in addition to the existing Education policies, which have see Anambra State students excel continually in WAEC, NECO and similar examinations. We appreciate that the future will be shaped and guided by information technology (ICT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). I will, therefore, deploy my consummate personal knowledge on these subjects to Anambra State School System with emphasis on STEM.
4) In total support of our Economic and Commercial activities; we shall pursue the expeditious provision of constant Electricity throughout Anambra State, which is an industrial hub similar to the Geometric Electricity System. This will greatly enhance our skills and Human Capital Development programmes, which shall multiply opportunities for rewarding Youth employment as well as decisively support SMEs to elicit the creative tendencies of Ndi Anambra with focus on making our dear youth globally marketable.
5) We shall deliver a new infrastructural map for Anambra State with a solid Road Maintenance Department (RMD) similar to erstwhile Public Works Department (PWD), in compliance with Anambra Integrated Development Strategy (ANIDS). Anambra State has constant heavy haulage of goods and services throughout the state, and therefore the Onitsha-Nnewi-Awka (ONA) Industrial Axis and other parts of the State must be linked with light-rail and durable high-quality roads with sustainable lifespan that will accord with the extant realities.
6) To enhance Enterprise and Commerce, we will ensure that as requisite tools of governance, Taxation Regimes and Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) must have a human face. There is no justification for any Government to Tax businesses and persons below the poverty line. Accordingly, protection of this group of our people from pains and penury shall be a priority of our Government.
7) We shall create a Social Safety Net for needy members of our state population who are indigent, fall on hard times or face a catastrophe, in five core areas, namely: housing assistance; food and nutrition assistance; charity healthcare; orphaned or indigent child support and supplemental security income for the non-pensioned Senior Citizens.
Mindful and totally respectful and committed to upholding the extant zoning policy in Anambra State, and cognizant that is the turn of the Southern Senatorial Zone; I hereby commit myself to running for a four year term only.
I hereby undertake to run a focused, transformative, resilient and result-oriented Government under the Labour Party aimed at replicating the ongoing model in Abia State.
