Gov. Sule Seeks Enhanced Education Sector Collaboration During Visit by Federal College of Education Governing Council

The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, received the Chairman and members of the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Keana, at the Government House on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

According to a statement issued by the Directorate of Strategic Communication Nasarawa State Government House, the courtesy visit, led by Hon. Aminu Suleiman, underscored the governor’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships with tertiary institutions in the state, driving academic excellence, and enhancing the education sector’s contribution to Nasarawa’s socio-economic development.

This meeting is expected to yield numerous benefits, including: Strengthened collaboration between the state government and the college, leading to improved educational outcomes, enhanced capacity building for teachers and students, aligning with the state’s development goals, increased access to quality education, particularly in technical and vocational fields, boost economic growth through the development of skilled manpower, improve synergy between the state government and federal institutions, promoting seamless collaboration and resource optimization.
