Lady Uchenwa Ujam Congratulates Sen. Chimaroke Nnamani at 64

The Immediate Past Chairman, Nigerian Society of Engineers, Enugu Branch, Lady Engr. Uchenwa Nebiem Ujam, PhD, FNSE, FNIEEE, has felicitated an ex governor of Enugu State and immediate past senator representing Enugu East zone, Sen. Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani, on the occasion of his 64th birthday.

In a brief statement she issued, she described Nnamani as “the progenitor of the Ebeano political family, a builder of men and true son of Nkanu land”.

“At 64, I join your political associates, friends and family to wish you a happy birthday.

“Sir, as governor, you bestrode the political space with gigantic projects and initiatives.

“You were responsible for the relocation of the state university and the siting of a Nigerian Law School campus in Agbani, the relocation of the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, UNTH, to a more befitting space in Ituku-Ozalla, among other futuristic projects.

“We pray that God blesses your new age with good health, long life and satisfaction.

“Happy Birthday Ebeano”.

Chimaroke Nnamani, born 30 May 1960, is a medical doctor and Nigerian politician from Enugu State. He was elected Governor of Enugu State in the 1999 Enugu State gubernatorial election from 1999 to 2007.

He subsequently served as a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senator for Enugu East Senatorial District from 2007 to 2011 and was re-elected in 2019 for another term that ended in 2023.
