Ex-president of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Dr. Ken Nnamani, and family have fixed June 16, 2023 for the burial of his late Wife, Lady Jane Nnamani, who passed on some weeks ago.
Nnamani said Thursday, June 15, 2023 will be for the service of songs, which will be followed by her interment on Friday, June 16, 2023 in his country home in Amechi, Enugu South council area of Enugu State.
On Saturday, June 17, 2023, condolences by friends and in-laws will continue while a church outing service will hold on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Other masquerade activities and traditional rites is scheduled for Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
The late Jane Nnamani passed on in Enugu on Thursday, May 4, 2023, after a brief illness, aged 58.
Describing his late wife, the former presidential aspirant said: “Lady Jane was not just my wife and the mother of our four children, she was my friend, confidante, manager of our home, a great pillar of support to me and our children and the glue that held the family together. This is one loss my children and I will ever find extremely difficult to come to terms with. May Almighty God grant the soul of my loving wife eternal rest in His bosom. Amen! ”
