Enugu APGA suspends members for Anti-party activities

The State Working Committee of the Enugu State Chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, rising from its meeting on 10th April 2023, have recommended the immediate suspension of some of its members for various acts of Anti-party activities, in relation to the just concluded National and State elections in Enugu State, a statement signed by the state chairman of the party, Mr. Ndubuisi EnechiOnyia and sent to Pacesetter by the party’s media office read.

“Having established a prima-facie case against these members of APGA in Enugu State, the SWC of APGA Enugu state hereby announce their immediate suspension from the party, pending the outcome of the Disciplinary Committee set up by the Party in the State.

“Those suspended include Chief Jeff Nnamani, a former Governorship aspirant; Emmanuel Eze, a civil servant working at the Ministry of Land Enugu State; and Ephraim Chukwu a Law school student”.

The statement further read: “Also suspended include Mr. Celestine Onoh, Johnson Ezeugwu, Edward Chiekwe, Samuel Ugwu, Frank Chibueze, Kingsley A. Ude, Chinedu Eze, Greg Okafor, Emeka Ani, Ferdinand Anioke and many others”.

The SWC stated that the exercise was an “ongoing one aimed at eliminating the bad eggs in the party” and positioning the party for the future. It urged all APGA faithfuls in the state to remain committed to the party

The Disciplinary Committee has two weeks to submit its report, according to the statement.
