The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has debunked news of his withdrawal from the presidential campaign.
In a 7 seconds video released on his verified twitter handle, Tinubu restated his readiness to serve Nigeria.
“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope.
“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One”, the tweet read.
It is believed that Tinubu is in the United Kingdom at the moment.
Yesterday, the social media was agog with the news that Tinubu would withdraw from the presidential campaign on health grounds as directed by his doctors.
His absence at the signing of the peace pact by presidential aspirants appeared to have made the public believe the unverified message.
He was represented by his running mate, Kashim Shettima, making it the second time Tinubu was absent from an important function where other presidential candidates were in attendance, the first being the NBA-AGC.
