Enugu: PDP Guber standard-bearer, Peter Mbah, picks Ifeanyi Ossai as running mate

The Enugu State Governorship standard-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 general elections, Barr. Peter Mbah, has picked Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai as his running mate.
Mr. Mbah made this public, Sunday, during an interactive session with the Press in Enugu at the Base Event Centre Enugu. During the introduction, Mbah noted that Ossai forgot to introduce himself as his running mate.
It was the first formal announcement of the PDP guber running mate.
Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai is from Udenu in Enugu North Senatorial zone, the zone pundits believe is the right place for the Deputy Governorship Candidate to come from based on the zoning agreement that exists in the state.
Mr. Ossai is expected to be screened by the Okwesilieze Nwodo led Deputy Governorship Candidate Screening Committee (DGSC).
