Enugu: Chimaroke Nnamani donates over 9milion naira to party in Enugu East Senatorial zone

The Senator Representing Enugu East Senatorial District and former Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani, has donated the sum of Nine million, three hundred and eighty five thousand naira only (#9,385,000) to the Peoples Democratic Party faithfuls in Enugu East Senatorial zone.
Announcing the breakdown of the donation in the presence of Dr. Chika Igwesi who represented Sen. Chimaroke Nnamani, and other party faithfuls, Saturday, at the PDP LG meeting, the PDP Chairman of Enugu South LG, Hon. Freedom Nnam, said Enugu South received the sum of One million, five hundred and twenty thousand naira (#1,520,000) from the donation as accruing to the local government.

Enugu East Senatorial zone comprises of Enugu North, Enugu South, Nkanu East, Nkanu West, Enugu East and Isi uzo local government councils.
Dr. Chika Igwesi also made a personal donation of 100,000 naira to the local government, as his support to the donation of Chimaroke Nnamani.
Our correspondent reports that party faithfuls were overjoyed by the gesture of Sen. Nnamani whom they described as a man making the Senatorial zone proud. The women who couldn’t hide their joy burst into the popular Ebeano chants.
