In what is meant to be an extension of and complimenting the educational strides of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, as well as a continuum of the legacies of Late His Royal Highness, Igwe U.A Oruruo, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Information, Hon. Steve Oruruo (Esq), under the auspices of the Steve Oruruo Foundation is set to promote Education in the state through awards, rewards, and scholarship for students in the State.
The programme which has its theme as, Award of Brilliance will be held in partnership with Akpugo High School, Akpugo (AHSA), on Thursday, 30th September, 2021, at Akpugo High School in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.

According to insiders from the Foundation who spoke with The Pacesetter Frontier Magazine, the sui generis programme is meant to lift the spirits of the younger generation, inspire the enthusiasm and brilliance of a new generation, promote a reading culture and create expertise in science, technology and art.
In recent times, Steve Oruruo Foundation has offered scholarships and cash reward to students of higher institutions in the State. It is expected that people from different walks of life will grace this month’s gathering as a way of inspiring the target students to think big and aspire great.
